Very safe, but no wall is perfect.
- A clever agent could still find a way out of its playhouse.
- Eggie keeps your keys out of the agent's sight, but not fully out of its reach. Give it test keys, not the ones your live apps run on.
- The agent makes its own choices, and Eggie can't answer for all of them. Keep an eye on what it does.

What do I need to get started?

Is it really free?
Yes, the Free plan costs nothing. The only thing you pay for is your own ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor plan — which you might already have. Cloud, the plan for keeping your apps online, is free during the beta too.
Is it safe for my computer?
Very safe. Everything Eggie and your agent do happens inside a virtual machine — a separate little computer, walled off from your own files and programs. No wall is perfect, though: give your agent test keys rather than the ones your live apps run on, and keep an eye on what it does.
What is a virtual machine?
A separate little computer living inside your computer. It has its own space and its own files, kept apart from the rest of your computer.

Do I need to know how to code?
