This page covers the Eggie website. It is short because the website collects very little.
What we collect
Beta sign-up. When you ask for a beta invite, we receive what you enter in the form: your email address and, if you fill them in, your name, your computer, the AI agent you use, the version you’re interested in, your experience and what you’d like to build.
Newsletter. Only if you tick “Also send me occasional Eggie news and product updates”. We keep a record of when you ticked it and the wording you agreed to.
Contact form. When you write to us, we receive your name, email address and message.
Both forms go straight to Eggie’s own server; no third-party form service sees them.
Spam protection. Both forms use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots. It loads only once you start filling in a form. Google then receives your IP address and information about your browser and how you use the page, and may set its own cookie, under Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We only receive Google’s verdict.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Google
receives your IP address, the pages you open, where you came from and information about your browser and
device, and sets cookies (_ga…) to recognise a returning visitor, under Google’s
Privacy Policy. We only see the totals in Google’s reports. You can
block it with an ad blocker or Google’s opt-out add-on.
Server logs. Like any website, our server logs requests (including your IP address) to keep the site running and secure.
We don’t use advertising trackers. The only cookies are Google’s: Analytics’, and reCAPTCHA’s on the forms.
What we use it for
- Beta sign-up: to send you your invite and emails about the beta, and to decide who to invite first.
- Newsletter: to send you occasional Eggie news and product updates. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Contact form: to answer you.
- Analytics: to see which pages people read and improve the website.
We don’t sell your data or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
