Updates

Eggie has two parts that update separately. You only ever click one button.

The Eggie app

When a new version is out, the app shows Update when you open it. You can also check yourself: Check for updates at the bottom of the home screen.

• Windows: the window closes, the installer runs and Eggie opens again on the new version.
• Mac: the installer opens and asks for your Mac password, like the first time. Open Eggie again when it’s done.

Your projects keep running during the update. The current version is shown at the bottom right of the home screen.

The kitchen

The kitchen updates itself every time it starts, if there’s something new. You don’t need to do anything.

• No internet? It starts on the version it has and tries next time.
• If an update fails, the kitchen keeps the previous version. Your projects aren’t touched.
